If you’re a mom of girls, you probably have bobby pins and hairbands scattered around your house, car, and purse. They are everywhere! Of course, we never seem to be able to find one when needed…my girls are always digging through my purse to find a hairband!
As I was throwing out some empty prescription bottles and mint containers, I thought they might be perfect for containing those hair items in my purse.
And what better way to decorate them than with WASHI TAPE!
So simple and easy…just choose some coordinating colors of washi tape and begin wrapping it around the containers. One word of advice…choose darker colors or patterns that will cover the writing on the bottles and containers. You might even need to wrap it around two or three times to cover whatever is underneath.
Cover the lid with washi tape, also.
The mint tin takes a little more effort to cover with the washi tape. The rounded corners may be more difficult…just adhere it and smooth it out the best you can!
All finished and ready to fill with those hairbands and bobby pins…
The next time someone needs a hairband I won’t need to rummage through my purse to find one!
