ice cream can’t get any fresher than this…from the MOOmer’s dairy farm straight to Claire’s chocolate-covered face
gorgeous flower boxes along the streets of Leland
a surprise meeting of friends which led to a fun afternoon boat ride
dinner at Trattoria Stella, a lovely Italian restaurant located in what used to be the Northern Michigan Asylum (one teenage daughter thought that was pretty cool)…the heirloom tomato salad was beyond delicious

What a fun week!
It has been fun exploring northern Michigan! Can’t believe that we’ve never been to some of these cities…been to Mackinac Island which we love, but never ventured far from there. Such a beautiful area!
