Spring is here, and that means changing over closets with new clothes for the new season! My girls have always loved dressing for the spring and summer better than the sweater season. What little one doesn’t love running around in shorts and flip flops, though?
As I looked through my recent purchases for my youngest daughter, I noticed a trend in the styles…the ROMPER! A romper is defined as “a loose, one-piece garment combining a shirt or blouse and short, bloomerlike pants, worn by young girls and women.” I remember rockin’ the romper trend in the late 70’s, and the style has returned in popularity. Now my daughter is rockin’ the romper!
I know…technically, this is not a romper because it is long pants.
It is still cute, though!
Here are three ideas on putting together a romper outfit for your little one…
OUTFIT #1
chambray romper from Old Navy
purple 3 layer fringe boots from Minnetonka
two-tone bead necklace from J. Crew
OUTFIT #2
Lilly Pulitzer nosey posie romper from Target
gold gladiator sandals from Target
OUTFIT #3
Lilly Pulitzer boom boom jumpsuit from Target
platinum hamptons miss sandals from Jack Rogers
light wash denim jacket (for chilly evenings) from Old Navy
These outfits will take my daughter from spring to summer in comfort and style! I know she has a favorite one…which one do you like best?
