Of all the Christmas movies and TV shows, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer has to be my favorite! I loved watching it as a child, and I still look forward to it every holiday season.
It is a fun night when it is shown on TV (although this generation can watch it whenever they wish because it is available on DVD), so I like to have a special treat for this occasion.
These Rudolph pops are simple to make, and who wouldn’t like some chocolate covered Oreo cookies!
You will need…
- milk chocolate chips
- mini red M&Ms
- small pretzels
- candy eyes
- Oreos
- lollipop sticks
First, place the lollipop sticks inside the Oreo cookies. To do this, I pulled the cookies apart and pressed the sticks in the filling.
Then melt the chocolate chips (I melt mine in the microwave), and dip the Oreos in the melted chocolate.
Place the cookies on waxed paper. Put the eyes and mouths on the reindeer faces.
Break the pretzels in half, and attach them as ears before the chocolate hardens.
Once the chocolate hardens, remove from the waxed paper and serve.
Like I said, you can’t go wrong with Oreos and chocolate! All Rudolph fans will enjoy this special treat…

I was a “taste tester,” and I would agree that they are delicious!
