Now these are the kind of monsters your kids will WANT in the house!

These monster treats are so fun and simple to make…no baking involved AND your little ones will be impressed with your effort!

Start with rice krispie treats.  I use the pre-made, packaged ones…they are the right size and they are already made!  Easy enough, right?

You will also need meltable chocolate candy in various colors, as well as candy eyes.

Melt the chocolate candy discs in a microwave safe bowl, one color at a time.  Microwave for 60 seconds, and then stir.  Then microwave them at 30 second intervals, stirring in between until fully melted.

Then dip one end of the rice krispie into the melted chocolate to cover about 1/3 to 1/2 of it.  Press the eyes into place, and remember these are monsters…so they can have three eyes or one, or however many you choose.

I love the eyelashes…must be a girly monster!

Place them on waxed paper, and allow to cool and “set.”

Believe me, your little “monsters” will love them…and you won’t find them hiding under the bed!
