Halloween is less than one week away, and I’m still adding some small touches and decorations to our home!
This idea for our stairs was quick and simple to create, but I think it makes a big impact when you walk into our foyer through the front door.
The following supplies were needed…
- black felt
- plastic wiggle eyes
- hot glue
- small branches
- pie pumpkins
- bat template
- natural string or jute
First, I attached the branches to the banister with the string. I did this in three small clusters. You can find branches in the floral area of the craft store (which is what I did), or you may be able to find what you want in your own backyard.
Then, I cut bats out of the black felt using the template and glued the wiggle eyes in place.
I placed the bats in various spots among the branches.
And the finishing touch was to scatter the pie pumpkins on the steps!
I love the look of this simple display for Halloween!
And what says Halloween more than bats and pumpkins…
BEAUTIFUL!!
