It’s washi wednesday, and you know what that means…I’m sharing another way to use washi tape! I love this product soooo much…I can’t resist buying all the fun designs and patterns!
This idea actually came about because I was being lazy…
So here’s the scenario…I was baking a double batch of my homemade granola bars (click here for that recipe…yum!). When it came time to slice and package them like I typically do with waxed paper and baker’s twine, I just didn’t want to walk downstairs to get more twine. I told you I was being lazy, right? I had some washi tape on the desk in my kitchen, and I figured ‘why not!’
That’s right…I grabbed some of that washi tape, and I used it to secure the waxed paper around each individual granola bar.
Much easier than tying that twine, and so pretty and colorful!
So good ideas come to those who are lazy…not the sort of advice I will pass along to my daughters, but in this instance it worked.
Happy Wednesday, everyone!
